Fatalities

CPVA Canadian Peacekeeping Fatalities

1950-2023

This list of Canadian Peacekeeping fatalities was compiled by CPVA to include every Canadian military, police, and civilian peacekeeping fatality, regardless of their employment status (e.g., United Nations employees are included, whereas Canadian government fatality lists do not include them). As a result, this is the most comprehensive and up to date list in existence.

Teachers may find this to be a useful resource, especially when combined with the Veterans Affairs Canada activity entitled “Remembrance Dog Tags – Fallen Canadian peacekeepers.”

Tips: You can type a name in the filter above to refine the total number of people shown. You can use the links in the table header below to change the column sort orders (full name, first name, last name, or incident date). Click the table header link a second time to reverse the sort order (toggle between ascending and descending order).
